- The new ECB series Magnetic Block Clamping System is a new approach in clamping systems for metal cutting on CNC machining centers and milling machines.
- This clamping solution let¡¦s the operator choose numbers, position, and distance of clamping blocks depending work piece size and shape.
- The ECB series includes the changeable Induction Soft Block. The Induction Soft Block is a multi-function tool used to ensure 100% surface accuracy on clamped workpieces of any shape for cutting, drilling, tapping, and slotting.
- This clamping solution increases accuracy and efficiency of all machining processes.
Applications :
- Most suitable for machining medium and large work pieces on milling machines and CNC machining centers.
- Minimum size of workpiece required - Larger than the area of two Magnetic Clamping Blocks.
- Magnetic Clamping Blocks are not suited to small work piece clamping.
Note :
- Always make sure the Switch is in the ON position before machining.
- Magnetic Clamping Blocks are not suitable for non-magnetic materials such as brass, copper, aluminum, stainless steel and other non-ferrous metals.
- The principle behind the Magnetic Clamping Blocks takes advantage of the magnetic field generated between the north and south poles of the permanent magnets. For best effect, always put the work piece centered between the poles (i.e. in the middle of the clamp).
